August 12, 2023 - This was thin with citrus notes. Just okay.

July 9, 2023 - If you like Rhône-style whites dominated by oak and malolactic, this is your wine. Having just returned from Europe, where I enjoyed the excellent, fresh, dry whites from Austria, Germany, northern Italy and Slovenia, unencumbered by oak, this was a bit of a disappointment. I don't understand the California obsession for oak in white wines. Oak should be a seasoning and not a major flavor component. Nevertheless, there is still ample acidity. Needs food.

(12/29/2019) Quite pale. Oak is evident with lovely, delicate fruit. 50% Grenache Blanc, 25% Picpoul, 25% Roussanne. According to the Ridge website, the wine was mostly barrel fermented and underwent complete malolactic, with 8 months in barrel total. Available only at the winery.

April 14, 2023 - Round, nice acid through line, deffo oaked. We’re eating these “escargot sausages” from pqm (meat and snails and butter and ???) and it’s a lovely pairing

November 2, 2022 - Actually a bit simple & light. Lacks weight. A nice light drink but not more. Perhaps past prime? Wish there was more going on.

June 28, 2022 - Coming back to after a few years. Color is pale straw. On the nose: Soft lemon, white flowers, a bit of butterscotch. On the palate: Lemon and orange, honeysuckle, melon, lycee and just a hint of benzene. Nice mouthfeel. Old World Finesse, which is not surprising from Ridge. I am really liking this blend and hope they keep making it.
