November 13, 2023 - Tasted after 1 hour of air. Medium ruby color. Bright floral on the nose. Sweet cherries. Firm refined tannins that are starting to melt away. Some cassis. Nice mid palate lift. Long finish. Excellent

December 3, 2022 - Twin Cities Wine Club Washington State Bordeaux & Syrah Tasting (Edina, MN): My wine of the flight and all the more reason to back up the truck to Januik. Bordeaux like with cigar, red currants, minerals, mild oak and earth. Medium plus finish. Elegant wine and nice finish. Drinking really well right now. Should be good through 2030.

September 21, 2022 - Tasted after 2 hours of air. This still needs time. Still tight. Very spicy. Sweet red berry fruit. Firm tannins provide balance. Medium plus finish.

Day 2: No surprise this will cellar a while. Cassis, sour cherries, minerals, dust, earth and chocolate. Complex wine and would rival any Napa wine at the $100 mark. 93 points
Day 3: A bit different but held up nicely with cherry, dust, menthol, pepper and spice. 90 points
