March 15, 2024 - The wines from this producer have had incredible bottle variation. Not necessarily bad bottles but more a difference in how old the wine tastes meaning some bottles are more youthful and some tasting more mature. I see this because this bottle tastes much older than expected. Rusty brick color. All secondary and tertiary flavors and smells. Still alive and delicious but no more primary fruit, just typical old burgundy aromatics. Delicate earthy Smoky bouquet and flavors. Did not fall off over several hours. Still delicious but not unique anymore. Just more of an old burgundy taste. This may be a drink up situation and hopefully I will try another bottle soon. Hopefully this is just an abnormally older tasting bottle. Still excellent QPR and a bargain for what it was sold for originally.

April 13, 2023 - Brick color. Cherry tomato smokey earthy bouquet and flavors. Lots of Earth. Nice complexity. Medium body. Tasted ready to drink upon opening but with several hours of breathing showed a lot more complexity. Can drink now but tastes like it should last at least a few more years, possibly longer. It is a lighter style but still has good concentration and complexity.

January 20, 2023 - Another great showing. Complex with earthy notes along with the dark cherries, mineral, flint. Fully mature and drinking well now

November 4, 2022 - Nice and complex. Of the four different burgundies made by this producer this year that were kosher this one is my favorite.

July 18, 2022 - Amazing. Complex. On its plateau. Smoke, earth, tomato, cherry flavors. A lot of secondary flavors. Medium bodied and perfectly balanced. Drink now and over the next few years
