October 7, 2023 - Nice wine. Pit fruit , with hints of tangerine, and saline but not shrill. Recently had the ‘18 Samuel Billaud Vaillons VV , which was palpably edgier. Seems like in Chablis I like edgy. I wouldn’t call this edgy however. Nevertheless good, and recommended.

October 4, 2023 - Opened and paired with broiled butter-cajun catfish filets and mixed sides. Pale straw color with a green hue. The expressive nose brings white flowers, honeysuckle, orange zest, and sea salt. The medium-light palate is round, supple, and textured, bringing a nice core of kiwi-lime, lemon drops, fresh pineapple, crushed rock, and tangerines into an extended, refined finish of saline and hints of banana. Did not need to decant so was good now, but will probably improve over the next few years. Drink 2023-2028. Technical score: 92. Enjoyment score: 92.

September 23, 2023 - A bit soft/round compared to the Louis Michel 2018 MdT served alongside. The wood influence is noticeable (not in a bad way) but in this softer vintage it seems more pronounced. Doesn’t have the crisp/tension of what I expect from chablis, especially MdT. Likely would have showed better had it been served on its own and not beside the leaner Louis Michel.
