August 25, 2023 - Light golden color and both apple, pear and minerals. Lush in the mid palate with a bright clean finish. As I've written many times on these that it's the freshness of Macon with just a bit of the richness of a Meursault, but not the need to cellar it as long. Perfect for a roasted garlic tarragon chicken and some vegetables. Makes a simple summer meal feel more like dining out.

September 26, 2022 - Pale yellow, the wine is undoubtedly fresher than the 2013, as would be expected. Aromas of ripe baked apple, spiced pear, vanilla streak, and whipped cream.
A crisp persistent mineral-edged acidity runs through the wine coated by delicious apple and Williams pear fruit fleshiness. No oak noted but it does have a spicy edge, the wine is not too broad and fruity led, with a lovely mineral edge of gentle wet stones. Fruity, uncomplicated fare with medium length. -

December 26, 2021 - Yup, producer over appellation, almost every time. Rich, dense but kept taut by juicy acid, lightly reduced on the nose, layered with lightly buttered apples, slightly salty chalky minerals, and a bit of golden raisin on the end. Could pass for 1er Cru Meursault from a good producer!
