April 21, 2024 - Initially a bit reserved but it soon opened out. A complex aroma, followed by classic Sangiovese sour cherry fruit, all perfectly in balance. Very long finish. Lovely with a fillet steak sandwich.

Mangler charme. Lang eftersmag. Potentiale til lagring. Gem til 2027.

May 18, 2023 - Good wine with beautiful fruit and very good balance. Good to drink now, even though it can surely go on for quite a few years. Perhaps a tad boring in its general likeability, a wine more for occasional wine drinkers than for those looking for an experience.

April 26, 2023 - Shining now! Spice, red fruit, floral note. Super juicy and almost silky, still with pleasant and slightly rounded tannins. Very enjoyable , cheers!

January 14, 2023 - Initial attractive notes of ripe Bing cherry, wood spice, dry brown spices and pencil shavings. It draws you in slowly and reveals more cherry towards maraschino, and botanical herbs (reminds me of the Rozendal vinegars).
Full-bodied, the entry shows a vibrant, tangy acidity that cuts through super fleshy cherry compote, tinned cherry and raspberry. Lifted and concentrated, the tannins are firm and grippy, seemingly quite ellagic tannins - certainly plenty of nutmeg spice, wood notes with a touch of vanilla. An elegant, youthful wine that is clean with that mineral-edged acidity keeping it upright. Complex, this reminds me of classic Chianti Classico where there is density and less sweetness. A long farewell. Very smart
