April 4, 2024 - A private dinner (Restaurant Vlees & Co, Amsterdam, NL): A blend of 60% Malbec and 40% Cabernet Franc, from high altitude vineyards in Uco Valley. Full-bodied, flavoursome, bottle age has settled it down a bit, the oak and the tannins are nicely integrated by now, but it feels a bit monolithic. Satisfying but not very interesting.

June 29, 2021 - I really enjoyed this with a braised veal/leek dish recently.
Deep crimson color on pour. An abundance of spice notes on the nose with cinnamon, paprika, green pepper, and dark fruit.
This Malbec blend really impressed with its puckering acidity and sharp linear focus. Orange/purple sweet tarts on the palate balanced out the dark fruit.
I would definitely repurchase. -

May 25, 2021 - Fruit forward, weighty on the palate yet tannins very well integrated. Some lovely sweet spice notes on the finish.
