December 25, 2023 - Cherry and milk chocolate on the nose.
Sweet but with a dry touch on the finish. Full-bodied and weighty but with no discernible alcohol.
Time has made this a bit better and more accesible. -

October 17, 2021 - Very good, drink now, suitable for 2-3 years of age but don’t think it will improve much. Beautiful deep ruby with red fruit on the nose - cherry, plum, bramble. Fresh bright acidity with the same red fruit on the palate. A bit of cocoa and a hint of pepper on the finish. Tannins are fairly well integrated but still a bit crunchy. Nice long finish and pairing nicely with our Bolognese dinner tonight! The alcohol is a bit high so be sure to serve this at the right temperature 55-60 degrees F.

April 19, 2021 - Serious. Lots of tannin but no oak. Only a slight hint of raisin or currant, a little black pepper, anise. Savory.
