Community Tasting Notes 9

November 19, 2021 - Beautiful wine - no tasting notes taken
Medium aromas of red cherry/ herbs and hint of black pepper
Medium body but palate full of red fruit and herbs
Great wine and especially great with food - really anything but meat/ game
I really get this feeling with this wine that I get with Beaujolais as a whole - it would really pair with most dishes

August 26, 2021 - Spice, moss, leather, pungent nose. Medium body, salty, high acidity. Different from what you would expect from Piedmont.

March 22, 2021 - Have opened several bottles of this wine in the past couple of months. Light-bodied wine that pairs well with many foods that don’t compete (salmon, chicken dishes). This bottle was especially light-bodied and it’s appearance was almost translucent. The bottle was not off, but it varied from previous examples.

    March 18, 2021 - Single blind tasting
    Deep salmon
Aromatics medium. Both dry and green herb, raspberry, spice. No oak
Palate medium. Acid medium +. Tannin medium -, fine on teeth. Alcohol medium +. Raspberries.
Finish has medium length. Balance to the acid
Dry glass notes of mild pink flowers
Overall an interesting fresh acidic wine with multi-dimensional aromatics
    Drink now

    March 17, 2021 - Dark salmon/ light ruby color
Medium aromas but quite complex - red cherry with strong green herbal component and lifted floral aromatics
Light to medium bodied - red cherry and pomegranate with slightly bitter finish which gives this wine a surprisingly nice length
Low tannins and medium plus acidity with medium alcohol
    Drink now for its freshness
