April 29, 2017 - excellent but could have used more time

September 8, 2016 - Dujac @ Trompette (La Trompette, London): A lot tighter and seemingly closed on the nose, pretty mute and a touch herbal. Very dense on the palate , padded but holding itself in and together. Opens up to a curiously pruney nose whilst the palate remains dense and fresh. Impressive but needs time to beguile. **(**)

May 1, 2013 - Infanticide, completely opaque in color with slight violet edge. Nose of dark red fruit with violet like notes, shld develop into red floral notes with more cellar age. Now still a baby and bruiser, big yet you wont mistake it as new world, with very good balance and very fine tannins. Loads of stuffings, after 3 hours still unwilling to give much after a decant. Next day much better. Dont open one in the next five years.

November 8, 2012 - Very dark and earthy. Very Morey. Brooding in character, but maybe lacking some energy and verve.

November 8, 2012 - Quite rustic with a deep dark fruit. Still a bit tight. This is going to need maybe 5-6 more years to fully develop. Absolute class and not far from Grand Cru quality I think.
