May 12, 2021 - Over recent years I have struggled to understand or to really like this wine. Once again it shows the acidic sharpness which I first found in it 6 years ago. If the Vosne spice, flowers or sweetness are there, they certainly aren't showing at present. To be fair, it was much better (little or no acidity) when tried in 2017, but several bottles since then have showed the same overwhelming acidity. Leave for another 3 years, and try again. 13% abv according to the bottle.

    March 29, 2020 - 🏅 Rating 91/100 (4,1⭐)

    Rather deep ruby Color.
Jammy forest wild strawberry, hint of cola, wood and this seductive hint of menthol essential oil.
Cashmere texture ripe tannins. Great concentration and focus for just a village level wine.
Unbelievable how amazingly beautiful can be negociant wine. Nicolas Potel is often times a sign of top quality. In this case responsible for both vinification and elevage.

July 2, 2019 - Blackberry, leather, and spice. Not an overly elegant on the finish but still enjoyable.

November 17, 2017 - P & P at room temperature. Exquisite nose, complex and multi-floral. But this is several years away from readiness. Although only 13% abv, it is painfully unbalanced and unknit, attacking the taste buds and back of the nose with an almost disagreeable intensity and succulence. The former high acidity has vanished, which marks significant progress. But it is still adolescent. It may in due course become a superb if still intense example, but for now it is definitely just too much. Try again in 3 years.
