June 7, 2022 - the light red color is so beautiful. Under a light, the wine has this radiant red that is so mesmerizing that you just want to stare at it. On the nose, the bouquet is cherry and strawberry with savory and earthy characteristics. On the palate, the weight is light. The mouth feel is soft and silky smooth and full of elegance. It is a very well balanced wine and it doesn't matter how hard you try, you just can't find anything that is out of place. The fully integrated flavors of cherry, strawberry, rhubarb and anise are supported by earthy and savory elements. Having said of that, this vintage is not anywhere near as sexy as the 2013 vintage.

April 16, 2022 - I have had a few bottles of Fox Trot over the years. This was good but didn’t seem to live up to the expectations of previous vintages. Still a very nice Pinot.

March 19, 2021 - It has settled into a wonderfully balanced and elegant Pinot. The fruit has muted just a touch and some of the more earthy elements are coming through now. Just great.

November 24, 2020 - This was the most interesting BC Pinot I have had so far. Very reflective nose of savoury meats and spice within the first 30-45 minutes of decanting. The strength of the wine on the palate is its balance;exceptional compared to the vast majority of Local wines I have had. And it’s balance is not simple. The wine has complex flavours of cherry, plum and even stewed prunes. The wine did not retain its positive characteristics the following night after the remainder was poured back in the bottle with an aerator. However, this wine shows the possibilities of Pinot noir in the Oakanagan.
