October 4, 2020 - Pours a light ruby. Sour cherry, cranberry, violet petals, tomato leaf, pipe tobacco. Great intensity of both flavors and aromas. Medium bodied with medium + acidity, medium but assertive tannins. This is elegant with a lovely lingering finish. A wonderful example of how nice regular Valpolicella can be; but so rarely actually is.

April 30, 2020 - I found this to be a very light bodied red which I do like on occasion. While the fruit and acidity were in balance, it was quite simple on the finish. A wine to be quaffed without contemplation.
