September 17, 2021 - Solid 90 pointer. Very refreshing. Don't expect this to rival your vintage Bollinger. But this works in hot temps where you want something cold, crisp, and refreshing. Sub 20 bucks, so how can you go wrong? Bought six of this a few years ago (at the price, why not??). And I'll definitely say, the colder these are, the better they are (and I'm not usually a fan of cold anything except maybe a little bit of chill on a chardonnay. Pours a light straw color with tiiiiny bubbles. Nose is mostly tart lemon, but overall the nose is a bit lacking. That's the biggest detracting characteristic. Entry is lemongrass and lemon rind. Refreshing, with a tart bite. The middle dries the palate and a bit of grapefruit and melon kind of bleeds through a bit. Finishes with a lemon "pop rock" kind of character. Definitely, MOST definitely a lemon-y dominated Ginglinger Crémant and although unilateral for the most part, is quite enjoyable. And how can you beat that price? This is my last of six purchased two-ish years ago. In retrospect, I'd buy again in a heartbeat. Drink this one now.

February 8, 2021 - Nose of canned pears and subtle white flowers. Palate is limited; sourdough and fresh pears.

April 5, 2020 - Really nice light and refreshing. Almost a cider like nose of mulled apples.

December 28, 2019 - Time to start drinking on this six pack as well! Compared to the albarino petnat, this one looks like a rockstar. In comparison to what you get with a Chardonnay, this is very good with charcuterie but I really wonder how it would stand up to heavier foods and fare. Pear, a little bit of peach, herbs. Sweetness is definitely there, and probably a little bit out of balance for my taste. Not sure this was made to last more than a couple of years, so drink up and enjoy now!
