November 5, 2015 - BORGOGNA NOVEMBRE 2015; 11/5/2015-11/7/2015: Tasting at the domaine. 70% diraspato - 80% legno nuovo.
Molta frutta matura, ma non sovraestratta o troppo matura, molto calibrato, quasi la frutta caduta a terra nel sottobosco. Bocca tesa, acida e fresca; tannino ancora cazzuto e struttura piena, tridimensionale.
Finale ampio e ben dosato, ma ancora da attendere qualche anno.

January 12, 2015 - Very 2005; deep, dark, and dense. But in terms of sophistication, complexity, and punch, it leaves you wanting more. I had guessed this must be from the middle of NSG and consulting the map I see that it is; they just seem so blocky unless you've got a real master like Chevillon making them. Would be interested to try the Chevillon example since I enjoy their adjacent Roncieres.
