January 3, 2017 - Intense dark fruits on the nose with prunes, tobacco, fresh sawn vanilla-soaked timber, a hint of musk, and a touch of rubber.
Good open palate. Lots of black fruit. Very muscular and masculine with pretty firm, grippy tannins on the finish. Lovely sourness to the fruit on the finish. Very, very persistent length. -

Nicely rounded tannins with acidity still keeping its strength. 7/10.
This could rise back to a 91. -

July 15, 2016 - Garnet red. Nose started out with some woody notes, mulberries and soft dark fruits like plums. Moderate tannins (5.5/10) and good acidity. Solid red fruits and some twigs on the palate. Medium bodied and moderate finish. There is something a little off-putting in the finish, a little metallic. Drink now.
