July 25, 2021 - This was my note from earlier this year. No change:
Very, very nice. Aroma typical of Red Mtn syrah. Sour cherries, chocolate, vanilla, earth and stones in this dense looking but medium on the palate red. Almost like a sour jolly rancher on first taste. Medium sour fruit finish.

December 16, 2020 - 13.5% alcohol; CellarTracker must have looked at the spelling of LIEGEOIS as all caps (where the French accent marks are optional), in lower case they mistakenly omit the acute accent over the first é; monogrammed real cork with a hint of mint/menthol, maximum of 5 mm wine penetration, medium to heavy-weight foil; opened at room temperature (25 degrees C), vinturied and tasted right away; mouth-watering nose of sweet/sour cherries, stone fruit, mint/menthol, wood, vanilla, dark chocolate; full bodied, notes of cherries, cassis (schwarzer Johannisbeersaft), oak, vanilla, dark chocolate, hint of licorice, or maybe fennel; well balanced tannins played off against sweetness, sourness, bitterness, even umami; textbook example of the outstanding qualities of Red Mountain reds; keeps its remarkable balance into the medium finish; pair with beef tenderloin, cooked medium rare over a stripe-searing gas or charcoal grill

    December 12, 2020 - Good nose.
Nice and earthy but lighter than most Washington syrahs.

Light and very drinkable, with a late and subtle tannin tang.
