September 24, 2022 - Tough to add any comments as most people below captured the essence of this wine. Very well put, light and tasty - keeps delivering on the 5th of 6th bottles - a tad pricy at 60$/cad but always a treat for the wine geeks

April 8, 2022 - Yeah, this is Trousseau on the catwalk.

Gorgeous aromatics of cherry candies, a Negroni and then underneath with cutting flower stems. Nose just grows in volume with air. Precise acidity. Great balance of weight, acid and just enough flowing textures. Bass notes and subtle tannins like first flush Darjeeling. Has a fun gummy worm texture on finish as well! Beautiful stuff.

December 27, 2021 - I get where a lot of the past tasters are going with this but it's the price that bothers me. Strawberry patch, Pixy Stix and sweet smoke on the nose is wildly alluring. 12% abv. with depths of juicy red fruits and mineral tones in an incredibly easy-to-drink package is nice as well. Rosy florals and a hint of sour citrus on the finish keeps the mouth watering and us looking back to the glass, but where's the depth and complexity to communicate the price point? The 2018 Fedellos do Couto Bastarda is nicely balanced and a whole lot of fun.

September 11, 2021 - About as burgundian as they come, this is really red fruited, with lingonberry, raspberry, cranberry, really mineral, a touch of sweet licorice and a bitter zesty ending, a bit herbal. Very airy feeling, fresh and clean.
