Brown apple, apricot. Developed, and can taste the honey and toast. Apricot nectar, developed but still more to come. Outstanding. In the drinking window. Drink now to 3 years. Shared at end of year WineGeeks. 95.

  • Condrieu82 Likes this wine: 90 points

November 19, 2021 - Nose of yellow apples, cantaloupe, and lychees. Sparkling minerality, zippy acidity, stone fruits, some lemon peel - did I sense vanilla and a slight touch of gasoline over there too? Long, lingering ending. Very good QPR.

  • Condrieu82 Does not like this wine: 80 points

August 2, 2021 - Was not particularly impressed. A bit too sweet and not overly complex. Not bad overall but not my style. Some apples, good acidity.

  • mphatic Likes this wine:

    May 28, 2021 - Screwcap, 8.5% alc. AP1019. Pale grey-straw.

Browned lime, gravel, green apple, steel, and honeyed spices on the nose.

Rather tight and coiled on the palate. Shows some sweetness but not a great deal of fruit delineation. Has similarities with a lemon lime and bitters. Piercing acidity with extended earing. Salt water.

Opinion: give this air! A lengthy double decant perfect. Surprisingly enjoyable and complex Kabinett. Should have put more bottles in the cellar.
