August 2, 2023 - I truly, madly, deeply, don't gaf about this thoroughly average riesling, the most noteworthy aspect of which was its annoying introductory gurgle that mercifully blew off and allowed me to fully apprehend its dismissable competence on day 2. No razor laser searing blabbedy blah blah here, just riesling, take it or leave it, chief

July 9, 2021 - Nice! Aromas of grapefruit, white currant, yellow cherry, melon, mint, sage, citrus oil, white flowers, a little tomato leaf and clean white smoke... Light and zippy on the palate, pretty much dry, but there is a sense of supportive RS. Juicy and citrusy finish features lots of pithy and herbal nuance. I would drink this in the next five years, but it may hold up longer.

June 4, 2021 - This seems a little more dry and a bit less complex than other vintages of this that I’ve tried but the trocken crowd should be pleased. The nose is stunning, though, and much better than you would expect at the price.

May 30, 2021 - Immich-Batterieberg 2018 Riesling Kabinett Trocken, CAI, 11.5%, AP 01. Q: HOW are 2018 Mosel Rieslings in May 2021? From a room temp bottle drunk over 48 hours. Very steady bouquet and attack. Tender, cohesive texture. Acid is not playing the diva here. It's like a Mosel expression of golden orb Chablis. I have a hunch these 2018s will not have a dumb or otherwise troubled phase. Preserved like 2015 and 2017; green and floral like 2014 and 2016. They will simply slowly melt into themselves. The drink is muscular, vividly mineral, and trussed with thick briny ropes of apple peel and cardamom. It seems less dry than "trocken" thanks to the reclined, lurking posture of its acidity. A slurp can rest on the lisp of your tongue without searing it. This vacancy of a cutting sensation leaves room for the perception of Riesling meat―salted, twiggy cellulose, impregnated with resin and organized to resemble succulent rib chops, of green and yellow, so, vegan, I suppose. I hope to obtain another bottle or two and wait until 2024 to open them, maybe on Riesling's birthday. 91+ –I'm confident this will eventually flirt with 93-95.

March 21, 2021 - Fruttato intenso con richiami principalmente esotici. Beva fresca con una morbidezza alquanto avvolgente.
