October 15, 2023 - Lovely with pizza and good friends in Torrey UT last night after a neat hike and the eclipse!

November 24, 2022 - A Thanksgiving wine. I was very impressed with this showing as compared to two years ago, when it seemed slightly over ripe and just too much puppy fat. What a difference today. Light on its feet, cranbery, raspberry, cherry. Wonderful fruit basket nose. Drinking quite well now. This doesn't seem like a long-term ager to me, but I think we are all still figuring out Oregon PN, so I could be wrong. Seems best in next 5 years. Paid $55 and the new vintage is $80. :(

January 23, 2022 - I thought I would give one of our bottles a try last night as a pre dinner football watching drink and then to pair with butter chicken. This was quite approachable after a brief decant. Plenty of dimension and depth with that bright Eola Amity freshness. The pairing was pretty solid too.

October 18, 2020 - Fascinating how each of these young Pinots shows so differently from each other - given the same vintage and winemaker, I can only assume here that the vineyards account for this.

This may be my favorite nose of the three, with red & black fruits rising from the glass.

More together than the Temperance Hill on the palate, with great persistence than I am still tasting as I type this note. That said, a youngster. I do like the potential here.

August 1, 2020 - In insider's choice in the range this year is the 2018 Pinot Noir X-Novo Vineyard, a supple and perfumed wine that bursts from the glass with delicate aromas of rose petal, wintergreen, blood orange, wild berries and coniferous forest floor. Medium-bodied, satiny and expressive, it's beautifully pure and transparent, with racy acids, melting tannins, and a long, precise finish.
