March 16, 2020 - It's a loveable wine, rugged and fissured, imperfect yet endearing. The nose has deep notes of smoky blackcurrant and lavender which suggest a more polished wine than is delivered on the rakish palate. The finish delivers a direct and savoury astringency which reminds me of tapenade. A classic midweek (or Monday, given the circumstances) pasta /pizza wine.

January 30, 2020 - Red fruits. Medium bodied, but ripe while remaining fresh. Really nice balance. This is quite nice for the money. A little spice on the finish. Simple, but pleasant and easy going.
