August 7, 2022 - Silky, apple, apricot, gooseberry, stone, finishing in citrus pith. Nicely balanced acidity. Overall sleek but not racy. Very nice.

June 2, 2022 - Didn’t make a detailed note. This was good. Aromatically quite complex, with an array of herbal impressions over white peaches. Palate is a bit thin and lacking in heft for my taste.

October 22, 2021 - A lovely French chardonnay consumed during Morgan's friend Halloween party with friends, while we feasted on chicken cordon bleu, purple sweet potatoes, collard greens, pumpkin raviolis, and a butter lettuce salad.

July 24, 2021 - Excellent chardonnay. First bottle of the Montagny 1er cru I have tasted from Latour. This has all the qualities of a great none citrus dominant Burgundian white that I enjoy . Yellow in colour, great acidity, floral nose, moderate length, loads of pear/apple ,white fruits flavours. Very refreshing and satisfying wine. Will seek out more. The Montagny area is Great competition for the Cote d,Or whites!

July 13, 2021 - Very pleasant again. Youthful bright straw colour. On the nose and amalgam of melon and pineapple. Taste is a blend of melon, pineapple, linden, hawthorne with a back end of apricot lending a sour/savoury finishing character. A certain oiliness plus the apricot contribute to quite a full mouth feel - somewhat distinctive. Overall everything is nicely in balance. An hour or so after opening the wine began to mellow and integrate to give a gentler and better experience.
