June 1, 2022 - Deep garnet in color with slight breaking edges. Nose of ripe cherries, tobacco, menthol and hint of earth. Taste of dark cherries, leather, dark chocolate, and slight earthiness. Nice fruit and a great balance. Resolved tannins and pronounced acidity. At or just passed its prime. Drink now and over the next five years.

January 13, 2022 - I aerated this as we drank it and it was wonderful. Each glass was better than the one before. Great for a wine past its drink by date.

September 27, 2013 - What a pleasant surprise. Never really been a Sangiovese man, but this bottle certainly helps! Light brown color and a little restricted on the nose to begin with. Needed a little time to come around. cherries, plums, licorice, leather, lots of earth and stables. Still tanins left for further development, but also a pleasure now.

October 11, 2011 - now peaking in its performance, wouldn't wait too long before drinking this, well made Brunello and good P/Q ratio

February 11, 2009 - Needed an hour to smooth out acid. Decent back end body with raspberry up front.
