March 15, 2015 - Nice red fruit (cherry), nice spice, acidity, pretty open. Really enjoyable.

February 9, 2013 - Another Saturday at Weygandt (Weygandt Wines - Washington, D.C.): This wine should still be going strong, so I can only assume that this bottle had been heat damaged before I bought it at auction. Smells like tomatoe paste and tart cherries. Fruit is baked and tomatoe-like, meanwhile the oak is biting and overwhelming. Shame, because I usually enjoy Jadot's village-level Burgs.

February 27, 2011 - This was sophisticated, complex and a wonderful match with a mushroom tart. This wine is just coming into its prime after being nothing special earlier in its life. Still plenty of fruit, but the terroir is starting to be evident.

December 25, 2007 - Not as fruity as reviews suggest but best bottle of the 3 burgs we drank tonight.

April 4, 2007 - At La Sapiniere restaurant, Elvedon CenterParcs. No formal note. Quite tight and closed initially, slowly opening out to reveal dark plum and cherry fruit, spice and earth notes with nice fresh acidity. Tannins still quite firm and tight, this needs more time but should be a decent village Gevrey given another 2-3 years. 87+

(Jadot Louis Gevrey-Chambertin) Medium, medium-plus cherry-red. The nose unfortunately has just a trace of taint to complement meaty, spicy, stewing fruits. It's a shame, this wine is rather silky and the fruit is quite intense - another bottle should be good.
