July 21, 2021 - One hour decant, a rich nose that has earth and scrub notes to it, which extends into the palate as well, with a tart taste of cherry and an interesting complex herbal element. Cloudy in the glass, with a long finish, this is a very enjoyable bottle that is not like your typical pinot.

April 10, 2021 - This is an interesting wine. It is a hazy wine (unfined and unfiltered).
On the nose, blackberry, leather, cola. Opens with blackberry, boysenberry, blueberry, very fruity with layers of big flavors. Medium long finish with mixed berry, strawberry, truffle and allspice. Med minus acidity and firm tannins for a PN. This is a sexy Pinot Noir. It has a raw untamed feel to it. For 29 USD I’ll be buying more. Kudos to Purple hands for daring to be different. Really enjoyed this wine. 94/100 2,700 cases produced.

November 8, 2020 - Nice fruit and body, but not much acidity or depth to balance it out. Time should help.

September 18, 2020 - Pretty much a pop and pour. Aromas of cherry, strawberry, mushroom and bit of rhubarb. Flavors of cherry, strawberry, cranberry and earth. Ends with a nice finish of 20+ seconds with dark cherry and earth notes. Some of that baby fat melted away since I had it last.

July 3, 2020 - A young tasting ‘18. Red fruit, strawberry, raspberry, and cherry. Little bit of earthy spice. Would like a little more acidity. Not quite as good as the prior couple years, but it’s young.
