October 6, 2023 - Pen dag 1, vesentlig bedre dag 2, på grensen til herlig, balanse, kraft. Hva jeg vil ha fra Origon.

March 26, 2023 - Dark red. Fresh berry nose. Sweet feeling and dark berry fruit. There is some tannin underlying this and the acid is just enough. This is Dundee Hills PN, in my mind. Meh.

April 2, 2022 - Limited notes taken. This was very pretty in the glass, with an explosive perfumed nose, sweet and exotic. A little more ordinary on the palate, but fresh and clean. Shortish finish. Overall a nice wine, the beautiful nose alone made it worth the price. Off the list at Ruth's. 13.8% abv

November 19, 2021 - Medium+ red. Raspberry, strawberry and stem nose. Spicy, floral and delicious. Sweet fruit and slightly green finish- an odd mix. We enjoyed this and will drink the other bottles in a few years.

November 2, 2021 - Reasonably good QPR wine, recommend it but still quite youthful right now - needs a long decant if drunk right now and really needs another 2-3 years in the bottle to really hit it's stride and then has a good 10+ years to go if properly cellared. Popped and poured at a restaurant so no chance to decant. Right now more CA then OR Willamette Valley in style and this specifically is what I think / hope will change with more age with a concurrent improvement in scores - right now this is stylistically indistinguishable from a Paso Robles or RRV pinot. Big fruit forward nose, dark purple with a heavy mouth feel - a really big pinot right now, somewhat simplistic and monolithic although the fruit is absolutely delicious but I just expect a little more complexity and balance from such a well regarded Willamette Valley producer. Flavor profile right now very dark fruit and blueberry dominant. A real crowd pleaser right now and hopefully with more age the expected balance and elegance will start to show.
