February 3, 2024 - Nice enjoyable high quality red. No brown or orange edges yet. Nevertheless I will make sure to drink my two remaijing ones within the next 2 years. Probably at its peak eight now. Would buy again for 18€.

August 19, 2023 - Bought from Montalcino in 2020, shipped during summer and imperfectly stored, I was expecting the worst. But this was pure pleasure in the glass - reminiscent of the rich, glossy raspberry and cherry fruit of CdN's Tenuta Nuova Brunello with some meaty notes, dusty terracotta, quite prominent French oak - but the fruit has more than enough concentration to stand up to it. On the palate it's really quite structured - lots of acidity and a tannic structure that demands food. I really wish I had more bottles of this because it has loads in tank. Delicious

February 15, 2023 - €65 at Beef club, with tomahawk. Tasted on opening and it was quite tight and closed, but it opened up quickly after decanting. Good body, nice balance. Mature red fruits rather than bright and sweet. Lower acidity than we expected - perhaps the hot vintage? - leaving us missing the snap on the palate. Overall good but not what we had hoped.

July 22, 2021 - Same note as before but showing a lot of oak right now even on the second day. Still crowd pleasing and nice food wine.
