July 21, 2020 - Leelanau rendition of a Meritage blend with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Syrah, no percentages given. This is really nice. It shows the upward potential of the Leelanau terroir with technical grape growing and inspired winemaking. Perfectly dry. Northern climate light in body and color. Moderate touch of oak. Leans toward the red fruit spectrum of raspberry and cranberry. Sophisticated complete finish.
