February 7, 2024 - This wine was special and makes all the hype feel warranted. It's clearly Italian, quite genuinely Tuscan, yet really truly singular. What set this apart for me more than anything was the ethereal silkiness of its texture on the mid to back palate. The nose is wonderful - floral, elegant, bright red fruit, also a little herbal. The palate has strawberry / cherry fruit, some restrained but pleasant wood notes (spice), game / savory flavor, and a beautiful sweet tobacco note. It's drinking great now (pop and pour, no decant) - but I'm sure there's plenty of life ahead.

October 22, 2023 - Gorgeous - ripe red fruit, expansive on the palate with a lengthy finish I am still enjoying as I type this note. Unfortunately, I only have one more bottle of this to enjoy, but I do have some of the 2015 Brunello, so I guess I will have to make do with that πŸ·πŸ‘πŸ˜Ž

October 15, 2023 - Even better night 2. About as good as Rosso gets

December 31, 2022 - I’ve been looking forward to trying this as it’s my first from Stella di Campalto

Quite evolved on the nose - light chocolate, leather, tomato, a lifted spice note, high toned cherry, blackcurrant. Lots going on.

Luscious palate - silky, intense, dark plum, cherry, spice. Good acidity and a very long finish.

This is a very well made Rosso with a lot of interest at this stage.
