  November 28, 2021 - Ein purer Ausdruck von Aglianico. Frisch, fruchtbetont und geradlinig. Intensiver Duft mit ätherischer Tiefe. Lavendel, Sandelholz, Zeder. Teer. Eingekochte reife Schwarzkirschen. Orangenöl. Der Duft ist unmittelbar einnehmend. Plakativ, aber immer mit Niveau. Alles sitzt am rechten Platz. Am Gaumen voll erstaunlicher Frische.
  Zupackende Tannine. Geradlinig. Zurückhaltende süße Frucht. Ein typisch würziger, kraftvoller Roter mit Affinität zu rustikalen würzigen Fleischgerichten. Geschliffenes Finish. Wird sich noch verbessern. Nicht zu warm genießen. 16° C erscheint mir ideal. Jetzt bis 2027 91+

  October 24, 2020 - This is a much bigger wine than other reviews led me to believe. Decanted for 90 minutes.
  
  Interesting nose shows kirsch, raisin, mushroom, forest floor and burnt wood.
  
  In the mouth this wine shows massive, chalky tannins and huge acidity. Most noticeable is the alcohol which is overwhelming and persistent through the finish.
  
  Flavours are somewhat sweet with red and black cherry, raisin, plum and mushroom.
  
  Likely better in a couple of years.
