Community Tasting Notes 3

March 24, 2024 - Much more rounded out, developed, and integrated since our last tasting 2+years ago. Honey and orange fruit are beginning to anchor the palate against a good acidic spine. The finish lasts at least a minute+ now. Paired nicely with grilled chicken and salad. Drink 2024-2030. Technical score: 93. Enjoyment score: 93.

February 8, 2022 - Opened and paired with a mixed grill stir fry. Pale straw color with a golden hue. The subtle nose brings apricot blossoms, orange marmalade, kiwi-lime, honey, and a whiff of petrol. The palate is medium, round, textured, and viscous, bringing tangerines, nectarines, sweet pineapple, lemon-lime, and honeysuckle into an extended, layered finish that lasts over a minute. This is still very young and disjointed but has high ceiling. Drink 2025-2035. Technical score: 93. Enjoyment score: 93.

November 19, 2019 - The Chassagne Montrachet spent 10-12 months in barrels then 2 months in stainless steel tanks. 10-12% new oak. Bright and fleshy yellow fruits with lovely texture and mild oak spices. (83/100)
