December 31, 2021 - Not the best but as a second label used for the ‘off vintages’ it really does deliver a great QPR which allows one to consume whenever one fancies. Good length and loads of flavour as one would expect with a reasonably smooth entry given it’s youth. Then again I have a problem that even with more modern vintage ports from the best years purchased in halves, which mature quicker, I like to wait for at least 15 years from harvest. Longer for whole bottles, 20+

December 27, 2019 - Limited notes taken. Shows really ripe black fruits, raisins, figs, and prunes. Would clearly benefit from at least another 10 years ageing where I’d expect to see it come into its own.

    October 19, 2019 - Lots of sediment when I decanted .
On the nose showing some development, leather and a little tobacco.
Fruit still quite primary, black cherries, plums. Distinct floral and fennel note, tannins now soft and yielding. Leather on the finish. This is just entering its drinking window but you should probably keep.

October 13, 2019 - Depp garnet; concentrated nose of ripe pruns, dark cherries soaked in alcohol, tobacco, dried nuts. Medium bodied with balancing acidity, warm and sweet with long finish. Young.

July 21, 2014 - - Garnet color with slow forming legs and aromas of blackberry and prune. It's somewhat balanced and has flavours of blackberry and prune with a full body. Fleshy texture with a long finish - Dark allmost black, syrupy. Very fruitfull. Will wait for at least another 10 years to open the next bottle.
