  September 1, 2020 - Medium plus nose shows classic Napa profile, baking spice, black fruits, espresso, crushed violets. Palate is both rustic and fresh fruited, spice complexity, black fruit layers, lots of structure in tannins and alcohol. Has more style than I remember previous vintages in that it's own flavors are there besides classic Napa. The bigger of the two bottlings between this and Sciandri. Both should last for quite a while.

  August 15, 2020 - The wine looks purple colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry, plum, mineral, violet and chocolate.

  May 12, 2020 - Dark fruit, earth, leather. Needed more decant for me, I did 2 would do 4. Not much nose. It was a gift so I don’t know price.

  December 18, 2019 - Beautiful nose of fruit
  Rhubarb and dark fruit up front that plays with the tannin structure and any protein you season up
  Could use another year but drinkable now
