  December 9, 2023 - This was a last minute grab as the other wine I opened and d3canted proved to be corked. I wish I had looked at the prior CT reviews first.
  
  This is well constructed, but a bit tight and constrained in the moment. Muted blackberries, blueberries and cherry fruits. Short dry finish. Improved slightly over two hours and with food. Not sure where this is headed in the future, but not as enjoyable as the 16 was at this age.

  October 28, 2023 - Two hour double decant. Very deep dark intense magenta color. Black cherry, cassis, blackberry, cacao, and anise. Very dry, cottony palate. Firm, full tannins on the longish finish.
  
  This is improved from my last bottle a few months ago. It’s still a touch tight and a bit brooding. Could handle an even longer decant. I expect this to keep improving with cellar time.

  September 11, 2023 - Good intensity of blueberries. The structure is quite aggressive, giving a hard finish. At 5 years of age I am looking for more charm and approachability. Built for the long haul? Or just lacking in charm? I'm in the latter camp. Medium weight. Short finish and straightforward. I don't know if this will improve but right now it is tough and still raw.

  September 9, 2023 - Solid fruit. Blacknerry.. blueberry.. initially oaky but as it sat that went away.. dusty.. almost rutherford dusty but not quite.. still has a long time to go..hasn't hit tertiary flavors yet.. easily can go another 15 years wish i had another bottle or two.
