  August 3, 2007 - A nice wine. Garnet color. Peppery, eucalyptus (menthol?) nose. Not much alcohol to smell, which is unusual in California zins at this price level. Quite fruit forward, with rasberries predominant. A little spice too. Moderate tannins, but not unpleasant. Solid finish, with a bit of acid. This is a good wine for those nights you order a pizza or grill a burger.

  June 30, 2007 - what a unique zin. nose of pomegranate and herbs. there are some complex fruit flavors, but the thing that stuck out the most is the eucalyptus, mint and pepper flavors that also lingered on the finish. very nice.

  May 8, 2007 - Could that be pomegranate I taste? Anyway, a nice fruity start and just enough out of the ordinary to be interesting. Migrates to a nice finish with some tannins, but not overpowering. More complex than many Zins.
