January 26, 2024 - Audozed cork in, in the wine fridge, for about 1 hour, then fully decanted at room temp for another hour before serving. Wanted to give this some oppurtunity to open up and compare to my May 25, 2023 note, see if there was more to it. Less funk but not all gone, more preserved red fruit (cranberries especially), but overall still consistent with my previous notes. This is what it is, which a is good, solid wine. Pop their BdM if you want more. B+ (88) eval.

May 25, 2023 - Audozed cork out for about an hour and a half before we tried it at the Kymanox pop-up tasting. This could have used a full decant and minimum 2 full hours because this was James Brown step back and watch yourself funky- red cherries and leather all mixed up in notes of damp earth, forest floor, and compost with a dash of horse stable for good measure. Decent acidity, typical of RdM, with a rough and rustic texture. Enjoyable at ~$20 (WL), B+ (88) eval.

April 29, 2022 - Decent with 30 minutes of air, a tad better on day 2. Juicy with a primary sweetness, easygoing and pleasant, perhaps not quite enough weight, but evened out as it breathed. Black cherry, star anise, vanilla. Medium-short finish, silty tannins that integrated better with extra time.
IMO fairly priced at $20, but at this price point I'd usually rather find a half decent Chianti. (Perhaps ironically, up in the $30 range I'd almost always prefer a low-end Brunello to a comparably priced Chianti, go figure.) -

February 2, 2022 - Delicious as a PnP. Creamy red fruit, licorice. Feral, rustic. Nice acid and approachable tannin. Serious? Meh. But delish for its price point.
