June 13, 2023 - My first of these. Served cellar temperature with Jamon and it was a terrific match. Deep color and deep fruit, but at the same time light on its feet and with lively acidity. I did decant it for a couple of hours, and that was useful.

April 16, 2023 - Brought to Rox bday party. Very good Bovale, rich, with good lift, dense fruit but not heavy at all.

January 3, 2023 - Medium red color. Aromas of red and black fruits, licorice and spices. Nicely balanced fruit in the mouth with very good depth and length and well-integrated oak and tannins. Juicy and persistent on the palate. Just now approaching its peak drinking window.

Really nice dark cherry/ cassis mix on the mid palate with a bracing acidity perfect for tonight’s spaghetti squash accompanied by a pesto, red bell pepper, ‘shrooms & vermouth sauce with scratch made meatballs. Comfort food and drink for jive times ⚡️
