January 12, 2024 - Quick decant, this is on the heavy side for a grenache, with oak elements far in the lead over the fruit itself. The nose is the best part of this, with too much barrel for me to enjoy it more.

November 11, 2022 - Holy smokes…this is very good right now. The tannic finish has aged away. Nice fruit forwardness without being overpowering. I wish I had another bottle of the 2017.

January 22, 2022 - Big, in your face fruit. Definitely heavily extracted to the point it is *almost* cloying. Dark red and blue fruits, long finish. Vanilla and some oak / cedar notes, chocolate, spice.
Don't buy this expecting a restrained CdP style Grenache.
It is very good, but may not be for some.
