Community Tasting Notes 2

February 27, 2024 - Last bottle from a case. This has aged remarkably well – very fine tertiary cedar and truffle notes with delicate black fruit and still a hint of floral freshness. Some sweet roundness to balance the slightly drying tannins. Tastes much younger than 20 years.

August 6, 2010 - dark color, heavy aroma of a a dark-fruits bodily wine; at first sip the taste resembled a Veneto Ripasso with a unique spice. Goes well with sausage & aromatized cheese. long after taste.
