  July 15, 2021 - This light-to-medium ruby wine was uncorked and serially tasted over the ensuing three hours. Unleashing its aromas within the first half hour, it serves up scents of red cherries, strawberries, allspice and orange zest. Freshly acidic, softly tannic, lightly oaked and relatively light-bodied, it delivers flavors in line with the nose and throws no heat from its 13.5% alcohol. Although it thins a bit on the mid-palate, the resurrected finish is medium in length. This is a simple, fruity, soft-textured Pinot that sells at a very competitive price. As such, it should have many fans. Enjoy it in its youth. Drink now-2023.

  May 15, 2021 - An overlay of forced smoke covers whatever fruit may have been in this wine before entering casks. This wine is just horrible, void of fruit and freshness. This is a dead wine, and my score of 76 is generous. I have no idea what the other reviewers were drinking. I'm drinking the 2018 Sonoma bottling. Anyway, you've been warned.
