June 10, 2023 - Med ruby. Probounced. High tannins, med+ acidity. FB. Long and complex. Sweet red fruit and dried herbs. Violets. Oak and sweet spices. Hints of tobacco. Still very young and in primary phase. Needs time.

Nose: med+ intensity, roses, raspberry, clove, nutmeg, black olive, sandalwood, violet, banana bread, cinnamon, developing.
Palate: Dry, high acidity, med+ tannins (dusty), med alcohol, black tea, perfume, red roses, cinnamon, cranberry, med+finish.

November 24, 2022 - Deep ruby w/ fallow pink edge in color. Pungent nose of cherry, rose petal, red licorice and vanilla. On the palate: cherries, fresh tar, rose water and clove. Fine-grained, spicy tannins are well-integrated already; perceived on gums and mostly on cheeks. Long finish of red fruits, iron and wood spice. This wine is all about intensity and length...nimble on the palate...ethereal. I hate to be cliche...but...Burgundian.
