April 24, 2022 - An awesome red blend from South Africa. Interesting mix of 51% Tinta Barroca, 38% Syrah, 6% Grenache, 4% Cinsault and 1% Carignan . Nice and intense dark ruby colour in the glass. Aromas and flavours of dark cherries and a hint of spices. This full bodied wine paired well with steak & frites. 13.5% alcohol.

March 17, 2022 - 44/44/7/4/1 Tinta Barocca/Syrah/Grenache/Cinsault/Carignan. Medium nose shows tart plum, cranberry, dried spice, old pomegranate, orange peel. Palate more expressive, shows signs of oak with baking spice, dried herbs, candied cherry, but Old World structure, nice acidity, medium tannins, spice profile. Tasty finish lingers well. Excellent QPR.
