December 25, 2021 - Pop and pour from magnum. My last. Showing beautifully with figs, smooth black fruit, sous bois. No need to hold further.

December 18, 2020 - I'm in agreement with other reviewers: This wine was fabulous. I don't know how much longer it can cellar, though, and so I am happy to have opened my only bottle last night with friends. And while I did decide to decant, my first taste was bottle-to-glass. As it turned out, decanting was completely unnecessary and added nothing to the silky-smooth tasting experience.

September 6, 2020 - Still absolutely gorgeous. Wonderfully smooth tannins. Great mouthfeel. Would never guess the wine was 16 years old. Color was a beautiful deep purple. Great depth of flavor. Dark fruits, blueberry

August 4, 2020 - From magnum. This magnum showed even better than the last one, rocking velvety dark fruit with just a hint of sweetness, light acid, firm but supple tannins. Palate is full yet feminine. Delicious.

April 18, 2020 - From magnum. Pop and pour, took two hours to peak so recommend decant. With air, silky, viscous Syrah with dark fruit, spice, eucalyptus. Just lovely.
