November 5, 2021 - Trouillet's 2018 Saint Véran is a translucent, pale yellow wine that offers a floral package of honeysuckle and lavender, backed up with aromas and flavors of citrus, pit fruits and wet stones. Light-bodied, crisply acidic, softly oaked and with well-integrated alcohol (listed as 13.5%), it has good mid-palate presence and closes with a lifted, saline-infused finish that is medium in length. This Chardonnay represents good value and should be at its best over the next couple of years. Drink now-2023.

June 6, 2021 - Really juicy and ripe.
Lots of apricot, green and red apple, melon and a touch of soft herbs.
Clearly a warm year with the ripe fruit character, but still plenty of freshness and acidity.
