April 5, 2024 - My first 2017 - and a good experience - it is smooth and elegant lots of fruit its strawberries and raspberries - very nice balance with soft tannins - and medium acidity - will give solid 92.

March 3, 2024 - I love Le Moine, but this is a bad bottle. Brett and likely some VA. Faults aside, this is young and stiff.

Second day update: most of the barnyard has wafted away, but still tight. Very red fruited, slightly tart. I wouldn’t touch these for at least a few years.

February 14, 2024 - Drinking very nicely. A pity it cost $65, but that's the world we live in.

Light to medium garnet in the glass. Nose on PnP is bright, red-fruited, some cumin, traces of alcohol in the back of the nostrils; left it open for an hour and it is just pure goodness and more well knit-lovely fruit that seems a bit more dark than red on the initial inspection. On the palate nicely concentrated and crunchy red fruit. Firm and ripe red raspberry.

November 30, 2023 - Fresh flowers, strawcherry, and chalk juice - a bourgogne that punches way out of its weight class.
    Bravo!

August 25, 2022 - 55F since release - this bottle hits me with the familiar ripe sweet strawberry and freshly mown grassy herbal stuff and adds this time a marked floral element particularly on the palate where faint cinnamon stick and pink peppercorn join in on a tart and powdery tannic frame in proportion to the medium concentration of the wine. Good showing!
