  March 19, 2008 - This caught my eye at the wine store - especially at under $20 so I figured I'd give it a try. A nose of black fruits and some vanilla...a pleasant mouthfeel that's pleasant and balanced...but then the finish sort of slaps you in the face. Alcoholic and slightly bitter...yikes. Give this some time or an extended decant. A decent enough drinker...but for the money I'll try something else next time.

  February 15, 2008 - Good, flavors of dried cherry dominate, add some floral notes and you can call this wine sponge worthy. Drink now, not fantastic, but a decent bottle of wine...
