  October 21, 2023 - 40th anniversary tasting (L'Esprit du Vin - Axelborg): My notes from this fantastic gigantic tasting are in general extremely short (because of the many wines) but with ratings. We spent a whole day tasting and tasting quality wines.

  ¿Te puedes creer, a estas alturas de la vida, que una gente de Aranjuez ha encontrado unas viñas centenarias gloriosas e fuera de su territorio natural, allá por el río Duero? Pues entonces no sólo merece que un defensor les otorgue 95 puntos, es que podría ser más generoso aún y darle el 100. Claro que si eres un irreverente y nulo creyente en esa iglesia de Junior, lo que encontrarás aquí no es otra cosa que un festival de fruta negra compotada, densidad sin límites ni acidez que la equilibre y una sensación semejante al dulzor que se agarra a tu garganta. Se lo recomendaré a Kurtz cómo substituto natural al oporto de las próximas navidades ... estoy exagerando.
