February 1, 2021 - Appearance: clear deep purple
Nose: plum, blackberry, elderberry. Black cherry. Warm stones. Clean, medium(-) intensity, primary aromas, youthful.
Palate: plum, blackberry, black cherry. Warm stones. Simple. Dry, medium acidity, medium tannins, medium alcohol (14%), medium(+) bodied. Medium(+) flavour intensity, primary flavours, medium(-) finish.
Conclusions: acceptable. Drink now, not suitable for ageing.
Seal screw cap. Decent everyday fruit-driven wine, not enormously complex but decent. Notes from half bottle. -

December 29, 2019 - Label says blueberry, black cherry, spice, chasing a smooth finish, and I won’t argue. - it hits those marks. Simple, moderate length, and a bit syrupy but just within the bounds of being okay. I enjoyed drinking this, it gave me enough of what I was looking for. Score +/- 2 points as scorching hot day makes for terrible tasting conditions.
