Community Tasting Notes 3

December 6, 2021 - Evolved in terms of colour, on the nose earthy, notes of mushrooms, red fruit, spices - lovely nose. On the palate a little thin and lean, quite mineral with good balance and length. Drink up. 91-93

June 17, 2015 - Color: Brick ruby at the core with a faded rose rim.
Smell: Earth, forest floor, dried red fruits, potpourri, cinnamon, clove, and dried blueberries.
Taste: dehydrated raspberries, Bing cherries, cranberries with a hint of clove.
Overall: This is just in a brilliant spot in it's life and quite possibly at it's peak as I can't see this improving. Medium body, high acidity, and vibrant fruit that appears to have entered into the latter part of it's life as most of it is showing dried and aged.

    June 30, 2012 - 1993 was mute and flat.
Opened for many hours, the wine never achieved any highs or lows.
Soft fruit, faint nose, mature and dusty on opening.
    Not a great wine.
